Effective:
This notice covers the piamo.app website. The Piamo app has its own Privacy Policy. Piamo is made by Pixeldea, based in British Columbia, Canada.
The short version
This website doesn’t set cookies, doesn’t use advertising or cross-site tracking, and doesn’t ask you to sign in. We use privacy-friendly analytics, without cookies, to understand how the site is used.
1. Analytics
We use PostHog (US Cloud) to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, which buttons are clicked (such as App Store links) and how long pages are viewed.
PostHog runs in cookieless mode. It stores nothing in your browser, so it doesn’t recognize you on later visits. To count unique visitors, PostHog combines your IP address and browser details with a value that changes every day and keeps only the resulting one-way hash. It also uses your IP address to estimate your country and city; we’ve configured PostHog not to store IP addresses. Session recording is turned off.
It records information such as the pages you visit, the elements you click, the referring website, your browser, operating system and device type, and your approximate location. We look at this information in aggregate and don’t use it to identify you. See PostHog’s privacy policy at https://posthog.com/privacy.
2. Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver pages to you and to protect the site from abuse.
3. Contacting us
When you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include, and we use it only to reply to you.
4. Links to other sites
The website links to the App Store and to other websites. When you follow those links, their own privacy policies apply.
5. Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will update the effective date above.
